Are you an Optometrist looking for an exciting opportunity in a warm and friendly environment? Pullen and Symes Opticians is seeking a part-time or full-time Optometrist to join our fun-loving and experienced team.

About Us: Pullen and Symes Opticians is a well-established practice located in the heart of Ottery St Mary. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional eye care services to our community. With a reputation for excellence, we offer a range of treatments including myopia control, Ortho K and dry eye clinics, ensuring our patients receive the best care possible.

• No Sundays or bank holidays. Alternate Saturdays are rotated

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive eye examinations
• Providing expert advice on vision care and eyewear
• Contact Lens fitting and checks
• Performing specialised treatments such as Ortho K and dry eye services (Training will be provided for this and it’s a highly rewarding area of expertise)
• Building strong relationships with patients and providing exceptional customer service.
• Collaborating with our warm and friendly team to deliver outstanding care

Requirements:

• Degree in Optometry and registration with the General Optical Council
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Passion for delivering high-quality eye care services
