This position is perfect for an Optometrist looking to go beyond refracting and offer an Optical experience only found in an independent practice. There is great variety of work on offer which includes extended eye examinations, Optomap/OCT, MECS/CUES, contact lens work, myopia management (including Orthokeratology), glaucoma referral refinement, pre and post-cataract exams and coloured overlay/colorimetry assessments. Full training will be given in any areas you are unfamiliar with.

All 3 branches use the Optix Practice Management system of paperless records, which is intuitive and easy to pick up. The test rooms are large and air-conditioned to provide a comfortable environment to work in. The existing Optometrist partners have the drive to make work stimulating and rewarding. About the Role

Across the 3 locations there is an Optomap, 2 OCT’s, a Topographer, a Colorimeter and each practice uses I-Care tonometry and Thomson Test charts. All pre-screening is done by fully trained staff. The practices are also well-staffed with DO’s and OA’s plus other support staff covering contact lens plans and admin.
