About the Role

For over 85 years Heals Opticians have provided trustworthy eyecare for Cockermouth and Workington. Let our family take care of yours with thorough eye examinations and honest advice you can rely on.

We’re looking for a full-time or part-time Optometrist to join us in delivering outstanding patient care.

This role can be based at Heals Opticians, Cockermouth or D&D McWilliams Opticians, 27 Church Street, Stanwix, Carlisle, CA3 9DJ.

You’ll be an integral part of our team here and will help us drive our service offering forward, always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate.

We’re also looking for someone who shares our dedication to putting patients first and spending the time needed to get to the bottom of their visual needs.

Additional Information:

• Our test times are 30 minutes
• We have 2 consulting rooms
• Our testing equipment includes OCT, colourimetry, dry eye clinics
• We are a team of 10
• The role requires flexible Saturday working
