About the Role

At Straine Opticians, we believe vision impacts every aspect of life. That’s why we’re committed to helping our patients achieve the best possible quality of life through a comprehensive range of eye care services.

We’re looking for a part-time Optometrist to work 3.5 days per week. The annual salary starts from £55,000 pro rata, depending on experience.

You will be an integral part of our team and will help us drive our service offering forward, always seeking opportunities to improve and innovate.

Educating others about the benefits of eye care is an ongoing challenge—one we look forward to meeting head-on with you as part of our team.

About Us

We are a dedicated independent practice committed to providing our patients with high-quality care and an exceptional experience.

Additional Information:

• Our test times are 45 minutes

• We have two consulting rooms

• Our testing equipment includes OCT and a topographer

• We are a team of six

• The role requires you to work ideally three Saturdays a month, with flexibility for holiday cover – Saturday hours: 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

• Young, dynamic team in a newly refurbished practice
