What’s in it for you?

Norville Opticians and Adrian Dobinson Opticians merged in 2020, to form Norville & Dobinson Opticians in the heart of Bristol. The combined staff from the two practices bring a wealth of experience and knowledge of the local area. Following the merger, we have completed an extensive practice expansion and refit and now have a lovely, spacious practice, with state of the art equipment and a great range of eye-wear, enabling us to care for all our patients eye-care needs.

We are looking for a part time Optical Assistant to bring their knowledge and drive to our friendly Independent Opticians. You wont need prior experience in an Opticians, but a strong customer service or public facing clinical background would go a long way as training will be provided.

You’ll be working with amazing brands and cutting-edge equipment, all alongside our supportive and friendly team of experts. Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to impact the lives of our patients in a positive and meaningful way.

A new pair of glasses can make a huge difference to patients, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing them smile as they leave us with the perfect pair of frames.

You will also receive:

  • Your birthday off work
  • No Sunday or bank holiday working
  • Free & regular CPD courses
  • Access to Simply Health (claim cashback on healthcare purchases)
  • Retail discounts
  • Cycle to work scheme
