About the Role

We are looking for a full-time or part-time Optical Assistant to join us in delivering outstanding patient care. You’ll play a key role in providing expert advice, sharing knowledge on frames and fittings, and delivering ongoing care that makes patients feel confident, comfortable, and cared for.

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, our ideal candidate takes pride in offering honest advice, building trust with patients, and being part of a team that delivers a quality service while supporting one another. You’ll have the time, tools, and encouragement to do your job to a high standard, without feeling rushed or pressured. Collaboration is a big part of how we work, so you’ll play a key role in making sure every patient has a smooth, positive experience from start to finish.

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll support our Optometrists in aiding with clinical imaging as part of our pre and post screening processes. Above all, you’ll bring a genuine interest in people, an eye for detail, and a caring, can do attitude to every part of your day.

• This role is ideal for someone with or without previous experience working in optics
• We have 2 consulting rooms
• We are a team of 7
• This role currently requires no weekend work.
