About the Role
Ladybrook Eyecare are located in beautiful, leafy Bramhall and are an independent optical practice that has been established over 17 years. We welcome patients of all ages who can expect a friendly and professional service from a team who is passionate and experienced.
We are looking for a part time Optical Assistant to work 3 days a week, we can be flexible on working days, however there will be a requirement to work Saturdays.
Essentially, you’ll have excellent communication skills, a friendly nature and genuinely cares about people. You’ll also want to continue to learn, develop your career, and make a valued contribution to the Bramhall community.
You’ll experience a positive working environment. You’ll feel valued, respected and rewarded for your unique contribution.
Full training is provided, depending on your needs. You may have extensive optical experience, or you might need training from scratch. Your experience will be reflected in your agreed salary.
Previous successful candidates have been from healthcare, customer service and retail.
The day to day job involves:
· Booking appointments by telephone & in person
· Running a busy reception desk
· Preparing patients for their eye examination and building rapport
· Assisting with dispensing glasses as well as dealing with repairs and adjustments
