Dispensing Opticians are at the heart of the patient journey at our practices. Our dispensing team not only have access to a great variety of lens options, but their knowledge and expertise are very highly regarded by all practice staff and patients.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a new part-time dispensing optician to join our team across three practices (but mostly based at Oakwood really!). We would like someone who is friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and ready to be part of a team delivering world-class patient care.

You will be an ambassador for not only our profession, but for our brand within the local community. Our independent practices offer a great opportunity for patients to get customised care and vision solutions. We also offer DO’s the opportunity to really show personalised flair in dispensing by having a huge selection of lens and frame types and designs at your fingertips (including Hugo Boss, Oakley, Tom Ford, Gucci, Ray Ban, Versace and more) !

Role particulars:

• We are a very friendly team working across three practices (Oakwood, Alvaston and Kimberley) – this role will be mostly based at Oakwood but some flexibility will be expected.
• We are looking for the candidate to work 3 days a week, including, Tuesdays 10.30am – 7pm, Saturday 9am-4pm and any additional weekday.
