Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience in a bookkeeping role and who is studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA.

About the Role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete accurate bookkeeping for several entities in line with monthly deadlines through posting revenue, processing purchase invoices and calculating prepayments and accruals.
- Management of purchase invoice OCR tool (Yooz), keeping the number of outstanding invoices down to an agreed number.
- Allocate bank transactions to revenue generated and to purchase invoices.
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations ensuring everything is on Sage Intaact and that it balances.
- Reconcile the creditors ledger to supplier statements.
- Request missing invoices from the practices and develop good working relationships with practices to aid this process.
- Reconcile wages control accounts.
- Ensure accuracy of financial information by reviewing the practice Dashboards, investigating any discrepancies and resolving or providing feedback where necessary.
- There will be a requirement to carry out other duties as and when the business requires.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills and the ability to liaise with practices confidently and professionally.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and precision.
- A “can do” attitude and common-sense approach.
