As independent practices, we can provide you with the clinical freedom, time, and equipment to solve problems genuinely helping people.
You will also receive:
- Salary: Up to £65,000
- No Weekend work – 9am-5pm (Mon-Fri)
- Full time or part time work pattern with potential to work in both practices if preferred

About the Role
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct thorough eye examinations using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Provide clear, honest advice on eye health and eyewear solutions.
- Build lasting relationships with patients in a relaxed, non-pressured environment.
- Work closely with a supportive team of Dispensing Opticians and Optical Assistants.

Equipment & Technology:
We are committed to ongoing investment in the latest optical technology. You’ll be working with modern, high-quality equipment to support accurate diagnosis and enhanced patient care, including:
- OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)
- Digital retinal imaging
- Automated phoropters (if applicable)
- Electronic patient records system
Team Structure:
You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team. Our team culture is collaborative, friendly, and patient-first, with a strong emphasis on professional development and support, our team typically consisting of:
- FBDO Qualified Dispensing Opticians
- Optical Assistants
- Practice Managers and back-office support
What We’re Looking For:
- GOC-registered Optometrist (newly qualified or experienced welcome).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
- Someone who enjoys working independently but also thrives in a small, close-knit team.
