About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time Experienced Optical Assistant to join us in delivering the kind of personalised, patient-first care we’re known for. You’ll play an important role in helping people see and feel their best, by offering expert advice, guiding them through frame and lens choices, and making sure every fit is as comfortable and accurate as it is stylish.

You will play a pivotal role in creating a memorable experience for our clients. You will be an integral part of our team delivering bespoke eyewear solutions, offering expert advice on lens selection, frame fitting, and ensuring the highest standards of optical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional dispensing services, advising clients on frame selection, lenses, and styling to meet their individual needs.
  • Work closely with patients to understand their lifestyle and vision requirements, ensuring they receive tailored optical solutions.
  • Front-of-house and administrative duties
  • Pre-screening and assisting in ophthalmic diagnostics
  • Maintaining high standards of store presentation
  • Supporting the clinical and dispensing team with the day-to-day running of the business

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working in optics for at least 4 years
  • Experience in a high-end, luxury optical environment (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a passion for exceeding client expectations.
  • A keen eye for detail and an interest in fashion, with the ability to offer personalised styling advice.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work well within a close-knit team.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • An all-round team member willing to do high end dispensing as well as admin responsibilities and clinical support.
