About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Optical Advisor to join us in delivering outstanding patient care in our Melksham practice.

Your Role Includes:

Welcoming patients and scheduling appointments

Conducting pre-screening eye tests and helping new contact lens wearers

Assisting with frame styling and performing minor repairs and adjustments Managing practice admin including invoicing, NHS payments, and balancing the till

Maintaining a high standard of practice cleanliness and merchandising displays Delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring patients feel valued and cared for

What We’re Looking For:

Customer service experience with a professional and friendly approach Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients

Teamwork – Collaborate well and provide support to colleagues Attention to detail and the ability to stay organised in a busy practice GCSEs Grade C (5) or above; this is preferred but not essential

Flexibility – Willingness to adapt to changing needs and assist across multiple practices
