About the Role
We’re looking for a full time Optical Practice Supervisor. You will be employed by Shearwater Optics Ltd, however based at Newby and Padley Onchan and provide cover for Gillian Sheard and Newby & Padley Port Erin as & when required.
You’ll play an important role in helping people see and feel their best, by offering expert advice, organising the daily running of the practice and supporting the team to deliver a stellar service.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building trust with patients, and being part of a supportive group of professionals. You’ll have the time and freedom to do your job properly by providing honest, expert care. Working closely with the rest of the team, you’ll help create a smooth and positive experience for every patient who walks through the door.
As an experienced team leader, you’ll use your technical management skills and passion for people to ensure the team is engaged and the practice runs smoothly. You’ll be involved in financial reports and the and day to day operation of the practice. You will use your skills and knowledge to help the team resolve any dispensing-related issues, and contribute to the upkeep and organisation of the practice. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who takes pride in great service, and who brings warmth, care, and expertise to every interaction.
Additional Information:
- Previous experience working in an Optical setting is essential
- This role requires you to work Saturdays
