About the Role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable full or part time Optical Assistant Receptionist to join our team at Alan Miller Optometrists. You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding patient care and supporting the smooth running of the practice.

This role is working Monday – Friday (NO WEEKEND WORKING). Full or part time hours available.

Main duties include:

• Reception and administration tasks

• Front-of-house, face-to-face interaction with patients

• Taking bookings, managing the diary, records, and orders

• Calling patients for reminders and collections

• Managing sundry items and ordering supplies

• Supporting with repairs and adjustments (training provided)

As part of the wider team, you’ll also help patients with frame styling, lens choices, fittings, and aftercare. This role is ideal for someone with front-of-house or customer-facing experience, but full training will be provided.
